It's Ours!

Well, we did it! We bought our first house!  Last Tuesday, was an extremely exciting day for John Paul & I.  We could hardly sleep. That day, we closed our our house.  Our families were so excited, that we all just decided to move in that night.  Crazy I know, but we were more than ready to get out of our apartment....as you can tell from our pic when we got our keys!

Scentsy LOVE

Well, in addition to buying our first house, I decided to venture out into the world of sales.  I am still teaching, but have decided that since I love Scentsy products so much, that I might as well sell them and reap the benefits.  I've been at it for a little over a month, and have been doing great!  I have wonderful customers.  If you would love to buy, sell, or party Scentsy, I'm the one to talk to.  Here's my contact info if you need anything Scentsy, or just want to know more.

He didn't know what to think at first, but he did finally warm up to him.

Such a happy family!

another baby boy

On April 29th, a little baby boy came into the world.  Rylan Nicholas Wayne Ward, our newest nephew.  He was born at 4:53 PM and weighed 8lbs, 9 oz.  20 inches.  We barely made in to the hospital in time to meet him, but we were blessed to be there to share the experience with our family.

finding the perfect one

John Paul & I have been saving and saving.  We finally decided that it was time to start looking for that perfect house.  We thought it would be a long drawn out process, but after two months and ten houses, we found it.  One day, after being down about still not finding the one, I got a call from our realtor.  She had a house that she was about to list that she knew was the one for us.  We drove by and fell in love!  Two days later we went back to check out the inside.  After walking through the front door, we knew it was the one.  A few days later our parents came to check it out and loved it too.  After lots of waiting and praying, we found out last Friday that the house was ours! Closing in two weeks...10 days and counting.
