An adventure in the making!

This little boy is growing by the minute! He is our love and he surprises us everyday with what he learns! Right now he can say pretty much any word he wants, speak in sentences, knows his shapes, can count to 10, loves his cousins, can spell his name aloud, and is always climbing, jumping, and singing!

I'm hoping he will at least take 2 more months of pictures for me! He either thinks we are playing a game or torturing him!

Our December started out great, until on the last day of school for the semester, Luke came home with a fever.  We kept him at home for a few days and thought he may have a virus.  He seemed to get worse so we took him to the ER one night.  They ended up admitting him with pneumonia.  It was the sickest our little baby has ever been.  We spent 6 days in the hospital and they did everything they could to keep him happy and get him better.  His doctor is wonderful and just told us that it would take a while for the meds to kick in and to continue to pray. On Christmas Eve, our parents brought a Christmas tree up to the hospital for our room and brought us Christmas dinner. After spending the week of Christmas in the hospital, we were ready to go home.  Sadly, Luke didn't care much about all the presents Santa brought him while were gone.  He had lost some weight and was pretty weak from being in a hospital bed for 6 days and not eating much of anything, so being at home was hard at first.  Thankfully it was during our 2 week break from work, so we got to keep him at home another week before we went back.  Luke's Nanna even took off a week to keep him.  Luke has amazing grandparents!!

Some of our Christmas pictures we had taken by the amazing DeAnna Campell before Christmas!

Feeling better to play with his iPad.  This little one amazes me with technology!

 Sick little boy.

 Finally feeling better!

Time to go home!!!

Checking out what Santa brought! JP was so excited to get his car (in the background) charged up and ready when we got home and Luke, still to this day could care less about it.  We can't even get him to ride it.

After about 3 days of being home, Luke finally began to get up and walk!

The Joys of January!!

Bundled up and ready to go out and play!

First ice cream cone at Braums of course!!

First Braums, now Sweet Frog with his cousins!

Luke wasn't feeling a picture with Cayden lol!

Just when you think the lock on your toilet works, he slides them between the seat and lid! He is a mess!

Love watching him sleep.

February Fun!

Rylan & Luke, Cayden & Luke - Love catching them holding hands!

The boys made these for their Great Grandaddy & Great Grandmother's birthdays! They loved them!

This is Luke's picture from the second set of pics we made for his Great Grandmother.

Happy Valentine's Day from Luke!!

Luke was very much into Finding Nemo so he got a fish named "Buddy" for Valentine's Day!

Luke's Valentines for his friends at school.

One of his favorite things to do each morning is to sit in the sink and play!

On our way to see the pulmonologist. Stopped at Chick-fil-a to play!

This boy loves some baseball!

Our little cowboy in the sink again!

Luke loves his Uncle Matt aka his horse!

Fun with Mommy!

Our March Miracles!!

 Mr. Handsome ready for school!

He was super excited because it was time for Daddy to play baseball again! Luke even got a shirt to match Daddy's.

Our visit to the zoo on Spring Break! His favorite part was the monkeys! He couldn't get enough of them.  We were all about cheap and free fun on Spring Break!

Our trip to IKEA! I think he could play in the children's area all day!  We checked out the big boy beds and he was super excited! We actually got him one for his 2nd birthday! Daddy can't wait to put it together.

More free fun trying on hats at Walmart!

We ended our break with a trip to the big park with Grandma and Papa.  While Daddy & Papa played disc golf we watched the ducks with Grandma.  She loves her 3 boys!

On March 20th, our 3rd nephew arrived! Jace Jarried Bradley Ward, a little miracle! He waited until school was out, so we made it right after he was born! He is perfect!

Papa & Grandma with granson number 4! I don't know if they will ever get a granddaughter! lol

Cayden was so excited about his baby brother! He first wanted to hold him, and when he was comfortable he said "Okay, I can carry him now!"

Rylan wasn't so sure about Jace at first, but he finally came around!

Love this sweet face!

The Ward family of 5!

We went to Grandma's to celebrate Uncle Nick's birthday and get some much needed  Baby Jace time!

Being silly!

Chef Luke!

Bathtime! Love his lashes!

I got a Cricut machine at a garage sale for $5 (These are regularly $160.) and had to get right to making some onesies for Jace! They weren't perfect but pretty good for my first try!

Ready to take Easter pictures! Bring on the chicks, bunnies, & ducks!  Luke got some little Tiny Toms for an early Easter present and they are the cutest things I've ever seen!

Only about 6 more weeks until our little man will be 2! Can't wait to get started on his Elmo party decorations! Hope to see everyone soon!!
